Job summary

The successful candidate will lead pharmacy operations, ensure compliant dispensing, and support interdisciplinary care as part of a compassionate team dedicated to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree required.
  • Licensed in good standing with the NB College of Pharmacists; injection certified.
  • Experience dispensing Opioid Agonist Treatment is a strong asset.
  • Ability to prescribe for minor ailments and injection certified.
  • Demonstrates compassion and empathy for patients.
  • Commitment to continuing education and updating knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all aspects of operations including dispensing processes and inventory management.
  • Administer medication to patients with supervised ingestion of opioid agonist maintenance treatment.
  • Administer injections as directed by College of Pharmacy.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, policies and accrediting body standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team collaboration.
  • Identify and resolve staffing, dispensing, delivery, and reimbursement issues.
  • Contribute to process improvements and new workflows.
