Job summary

Hope’s Home in Regina is seeking a Pediatric Nurse in our Early Learning Centre to provide hands-on medical care for children with complex needs. You will collaborate with families, staff and outside agencies, and develop up-to-date care plans while maintaining safety and infection control.

The role is permanent part-time, Monday to Friday with afternoon shifts. A current SALPN/SRNA/RPNA license in good standing is required, and prior pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred (2 years).
• Current license SALPN, SRNA or RPNA in good standing.
• Experience with ventilators is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within license scope and competencies.
• Perform health assessments on children and administer medications.
• Manage ventilator care and oxygen saturation as needed.
• Develop and manage nursing care plans for complex needs.
• Document progress notes and maintain medical charts.
• Educate staff and families on medical topics and protocols.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams for up-to-date care plans.
