Job summary

A leading rehabilitation company in Ontario is seeking an Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will perform clinical evaluations, consult on equipment needs, and educate clients and families to enhance their independence. The ideal candidate will have registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists and preferably experience in Long Term Care. Qualifications

• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
• Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance (within 6 months).
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical evaluations, including admission assessments.
• Identify appropriate equipment needs and initiate recommendations.
• Consult with vendors regarding equipment trials.
• Educate clients and families on independence with ADLs.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of restraint and injury prevention.
