Job summary

A prominent merchandising firm in Victoria, BC is seeking a part-time in-store book and magazine merchandiser. This role requires reliability, independence, and access to a smartphone and transportation. Responsibilities include following planograms, ensuring displays are accurate, and maintaining a tidy work area. Suitable candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. Training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers $17.85/hour for approximately 4.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate.
• Ensure promotional set-ups and signage are timely and meet standards.
• Re-order stock where appropriate.
• Keep work area tidy and organized.
• Work under guidance and take direction from the Merchandising Supervisor.

We have 1 opening in Victoria, BC (4.5 hours/week on Thursday/Friday) for in-store book and magazine merchandiser. No deliveries required; training will be provided. If you are reliable and able to work independently this could be the job for you! You must have access to a smartphone, internet and have your own transportation.

Wage:

• $17.85/hr

Duties:

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate and appeasing
• Ensures promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented within a timely manner to company standard
• Re-orders stock where appropriate
• Ensure your work area is kept tidy and organized
• Works under the guidance and takes direction from the Merchandising Supervisor
• Other duties as required
