Job summary

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies and CLPNM guidelines. The LPN will work within the Transitional unit and be accountable to the PMH scope of practice.

This role requires active Manitoba licensure or eligibility and valid BCLS training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Active practicing licensure with CLPNM or eligible for licensure in Manitoba
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Demonstrated organizational and independent working abilities
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of LPN skills and scope of practice
• Effective communication and confidentiality
• Ability to perform duties regularly and respectfully with diverse populations
• Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and maintain positive relationships
