Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) in Welland, ON is seeking a part-time Tennis Instructor to coach registrants in our tennis program, reporting to the Tennis Director. Some evenings and weekend hours are expected as part of junior programming.

The role pays an hourly CAD 18.00–20.00 and includes pension matching for part-time staff. This position remains open through December 11, 2026, and works at Youngs Sportsplex, a multi-field sports complex with indoor and outdoor facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in tennis coaching or instruction is highly preferred.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification required.
• Police vulnerable sector check required.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Detail orientation and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and service-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality junior tennis programs.
• Primarily support on-court instruction for youth players.
• Stay current with tennis industry trends and best practices.
• Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively.
• Support strong participant retention and help grow junior tennis participation.
