Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for St. Paul's Hospital & Mount Saint Joseph Hospital in Vancouver/Richmond, BC. The successful candidate will process orders, verify prescriptions, and support medication distribution.

The role requires Grade 12, completion of a Pharmacy Technician program, and current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Process clinically reviewed medication orders for distribution to patients.
• Receive prescriptions from practitioners and verify completeness and authenticity.
• Prepare, process and compound prescriptions per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate drug and health information in the pharmacy system.
• Distribute medications and maintain inventory and wardstock.
