Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) for in-person roles across community and hospital settings. The HCA will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, privacy and respect while following established standards and procedures.

Experience with diverse populations, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards required.
• Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course required.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license and vehicle access may be required in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living to support independence.
• Provide direct client/patient/resident care within established standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and co-workers; document care as required.
