Oxford Learning Richmond Hill – Oak Ridges is seeking a part-time French teacher/tutor to work with small groups after school and in the evenings. The role involves in-person sessions, teaching French to students up to Grade 12, and supporting learners in a structured Oxford Learning setting.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or relevant certification, strong written and spoken French and English, and the ability to manage up to three students at a time.

French Teacher/Tutor Wanted

Join the team at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill - Oak Ridges as a part‑time French teacher/tutor/coach. Ignite your passion for helping students succeed – en français.

Position Requirements

• Work after‑school and evening hours (3:30‑8:00 pm)
• Some Saturdays (10:00‑2:00 pm)
• Commitment until end of school year preferred; summer continued work even better.
• Strong background in spoken and written French & English; teach up to Grade 9, preferred up to Grade 12.
• Instruction in French; in‑person only.
• Must commute to location; vulnerable sector screening mandatory.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable certification in a relevant field.
• University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Some experience teaching/tutoring French.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage up to three students at a time.

Job Details

Job Type: Part‑time
Salary: $18.50–$20 per hour
Schedule: Evenings, Monday to Thursday; Saturday availability.
