Job summary

CIMT College in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Evening online part-time instructor to teach the Food Service Worker program. The role requires delivering course content, following CIMT College policies, and guiding students toward employment in the field.

You will use provided instructor materials, assess students, and participate in meetings. Online teaching is required with schedule Mon–Fri 5pm–10pm; access to courseware and daily lesson plans is provided.

Qualifications

• Must meet instructor qualification standards as outlined in Ontario regulations.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent from a Canadian university or college.
• Experience and/or teaching credentials in the vocation are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the field.
• Instruct curriculum using pre-authorized and provided materials.
• Teach with a diverse, systematic plan of lectures, demos, and labs.
• Use adult learning strategies to reach diverse students.
• Administer quizzes, assignments, and exams; monitor progress.
• Provide timely feedback on student performance.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and course-related events.

Education

Bachelor degree (Canadian) or equivalent
