Job summary

Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre EGADZ Inc. is seeking a Part-Time PT Early Childhood Educator for the Sweet Dreams ELC in Saskatoon. This role involves providing a safe, supportive learning environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Primary duties include supervising children, planning activities aligning with the centre's philosophy, and differentiating curriculums by child needs. A Criminal Record Check is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Childcare experience is required.
• ECE I, II, or III credential is required.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification is required.
• Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector within 6 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete supervision of the children.
• Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate activities.
• Differentiate curriculum and activities to meet each child's needs.
• Support children's development and behavior to foster positive self-concept.
• Ensure the Centre environment is clean and safe.
• Work cohesively as part of the Centre team to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain open, caring, respectful communication with parents.
