Job summary

FedEx Canada in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a part-time Courier/Handler to load and unload aircrafts and vehicles, sort packages, and ensure efficient delivery and pickup in line with FedEx service standards.

Must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to lift 70 lbs and handle up to 150 lbs with equipment. Flexible with schedules and holidays; training and safety programs apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload aircrafts and vehicles.
• Sort packages and provide efficient delivery and pick-up.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
