Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences.
• CEP certification with CSEP or ACSM.
• Two years of CEP experience in education, chronic disease management or behavioural counselling.
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centred, evidence-informed physical activity information and counselling.
• Assess clients and develop or review care and activation plans.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to achieve client goals and safe care.
• Monitor participants during exercise, adjusting programs as needed.
• Refer clients to community programs and tele-health services as appropriate.
• Document progress and maintain client records accurately.
