Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger endorsement and air brake qualification as required.
• Current and valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate/DOT medical card.
• Ability to meet FMCSA and university driver requirements including background check and driving record checks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide hospitable service to students, employees, guests, coaches, and other passengers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 56-passenger coach bus and other university vehicles for Calvin University business.
• Transport varsity student-athlete teams and other groups to practices, competitions, events, and travel destinations.
• Follow all transportation regulations and Calvin University policies.
• Complete required inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming passenger environment and assist with loading and unloading.
