We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can access their favorite merchandise. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to train new staff and assist in daily operations and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage repeat visits, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Support store operations by stepping in for leadership when needed, including opening and closing the store
• Process sales transactions efficiently and use your fandom expertise to promote additional sales via BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Understand sales targets, KPIs like UPT and ADT, and assist with visual merchandising and planogram updates
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ
• Ensure store security by working with management to prevent theft
• Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness
• Contribute to building a collaborative, passionate team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds
