Position Title: Part-Time Academic (SPAN 1022.03: Beginning Spanish II) - Section 5 - Winter 2026

Department/Unit: Spanish & Latin American Studies

Location: Winter 2026 (January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026)

A part-time academic is required to teach Spanish 1022.03: Beginning Spanish II – Section 5 - Winter Term 2026 (January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026). Currently Scheduled: T/R 0835 – 0955.

The Part-Time Academic is responsible for planning and leading individual classes, administering tests, grading assignments, keeping records and calculating final grades. The Part-Time Academic is required to be available to students outside of class time.

Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish and possess a graduate degree in a relevant area. Good teaching skills, including grammar training, commitment to student learning, and strong sense of personal responsibility.

Salary Range/Pay Rate: per CUPE Collective Agreement.

All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
