A leading Canadian university is seeking a part-time academic instructor for the course NURS4472.03: Critical Care Nursing in Winter 2026. Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
NURS4472.03: Critical Care Nursing (Winter 2026) – With the focus on critical care nursing in the intensive care area, students will further develop, critically analyze, and apply knowledge gained in previous courses with a focus on the management of critically ill clients. Emphasis includes working with clients across the lifespan and inter‑professional relationships and collaborative management within specialty practice. This is a 3‑credit‑hour course delivered online asynchronously. This appointment runs from January 1 – April 30, 2026, and the part‑time academic instructor reports directly to the Associate Director, Undergraduate Studies Academic.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Nursing, or related field, with a strong background in critical care nursing. Prior teaching experience an asset. PhD preferred. An active RN license with NSCN is required.
