Dalhousie University seeks a Part-Time Academic for the Winter Term of 2026 to lead in-person lectures and labs for courses in Professional Practice and Landscape Project Management. The role involves teaching responsibilities, course administration, and use of educational platforms for effective student engagement and learning. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant postgraduate degree and teaching experience.
This Part-Time Academic Position will teach in person lectures and labs for the course LARC4015 Professional Practice/HORT3001 Landscape Project Management, equivalent courses delivered at the same time with the same course outcomes. This is delivered in the Winter Term, from January to April 2026. Lectures are currently scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35pm to 3:55pm and labs are currently scheduled for Tuesdays from 08:35am to 11:25am The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the lectures and labs, including test preparation, evaluation and administration of the Brightspace platform. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
