Job summary

Reimagined Parking Inc. is seeking a part-time Parking Attendant at 650 Main to support the day-to-day operations of our parking facilities.

You will greet guests, issue tickets, perform vehicle counts, and maintain facility cleanliness while following safety protocols. This role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and you must pass a background check and be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Direct traffic and guide guests to available parking spaces.
  • Perform vehicle counts to avoid overfilling the lot.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked according to layout and instructions.
  • Distribute parking validation information when applicable.
  • Adjust cones, barriers and signage as needed.
  • Monitor entrances/exits and pedestrian crossings for safety.
  • Assist guests with locating parked vehicles; report incidents.

Compensation: CA$17.28 - CA$18.15 / hour

Description

At Reimagined Parking, we believe great people drive great results. That’s why we prioritize our teams, champion a positive culture, and relentlessly pursue excellence. We are currently seeking a Lot Attendant to support the day-to-day operations of our parking facilities.

The Lot Attendant performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Lot Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, issuing tickets, completing car counts, and ensuring facility cleanliness. The Lot Attendant works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cleanliness as well as safety standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Act as traffic controller to direct incoming guests to available parking spaces.
  • Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure garage does not over fill available spaces.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked according to lot layout, spacing, and site instructions
  • Distribute parking validation instructions or signage information when applicable
  • Adjust cones, barriers, and directional signage as needed
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
  • Monitor pedestrian crossings and ensure safe vehicle-pedestrian interaction
  • Provide assistance to guests who have forgotten where they parked.
  • Pick up litter, debris, or objects that could damage vehicles or cause hazards
  • Assist with seasonal tasks (rain prep, heat precautions, storm readiness)
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as necessary.
  • Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Follow established safety protocols at all times.
  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and report hazards
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  • Must be authorized to work in the Canada and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by law
Physical Demands
  • Constantly move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
  • Stand for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
  • Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes
