A private career college in Brampton is seeking a part-time Paralegal Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction in the Paralegal program. Qualifications

  • Licensed Paralegal or Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Minimum 3 years of related practical experience.
  • Experience with matters in small claims court, contract law and/or employment law is ideal.
  • Proficiency in a variety of legal software programs is essential.
  • Prior teaching experience is required.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, superior communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality classroom instruction with diverse teaching methods.
  • Facilitate hands-on training and practical exercises.
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student performance.
  • Encourage active student participation and engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.
  • Ensure compliance with College policies and regulations.

Skills

Licensed Paralegal or Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 3 years of related practical experience

Proficiency in legal software programs including Clio
Prior teaching experience
