Job summary

A regional painting service is seeking to hire 5 Painters and 2 Painter Helpers for permanent full-time or part-time positions in the Fernie/Sparwood/Elk Valley area. Applicants must have their own transportation and Personal Protective Equipment. Responsibilities include residential and commercial painting. Red Seal certification is preferred but not required; training is available. Competitive salary range from $20/hr to $35/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have own transportation with valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
• Must have own Personal Protective Equipment.
• Red Seal Painter or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel to the work site and be on time.
• Exterior/interior residential and commercial painting.
• May involve working at heights up to 20 feet.

Skills

Own transportation with valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Ability to work 8-hour days

Red Seal Painter or equivalent experience

Level 1 First Aid

Fall Arrest training
