Job summary

A government agency in Metro Vancouver is seeking individuals for a construction role. Responsibilities include loading materials, erecting scaffolding, mixing concrete, and maintaining safety at construction sites. No formal education is required, but experience is an asset. Work must be completed onsite with no remote option available.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience in a related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms and scaffolding.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction.
