Job summary

Titan Trailers Inc. in Tillsonburg, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. We offer day shift hours and a half-day Friday, with state-of-the-art equipment and a high-end product you’ll be proud to see on the road.

You will prep trailers, apply paint per orders, and help keep the paint shop running smoothly. Competitive wages rise with merit and commitment, plus benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• High School education required - post secondary preferred.
• Commercial Body Shop experience required.
• Previous experience painting and prepping.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep trailers and parts for paint shop
• Paint parts as per the customer order

Work Conditions

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
• Must be able to stay focused on the task at hand

Day Shift hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 12 noon on Friday

The starting wage for this position is dependent on experience and training. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period the candidate will be eligible to take part in our benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, Group RRSP and safety boot and clothing allowance.
