Qualifications

• The candidate will be expected to fill cracks and holes using fillers such as putty and plaster.
• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired colour and texture.
• The candidate must erect scaffolding and swing stages as well as attach rigging.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate will be expected to advise customers on colour schemes and wall covering options.
• The candidate will be required to apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• The candidate will be responsible for choosing the appropriate tools and paints for projects.
• The candidate would be in charge of adhering to workplace safety regulations.
• The candidate would be in charge of calculating the amount of materials and time needed for the project.

Wood Finishing Specializations

Surface Preparation Experience

• The ideal candidate should have experience with drywall taping and patching.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must pass criminal background check and drug test.
• The candidate should have clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations.
• The candidate should be bondable and easily communicate.

Own Tools/Equipment

• The candidate must be capable of using tools.
• The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
• The candidate should be prepared to work under dangerous work conditions
