Job summary

The candidate will read engineering drawings and BOMs to ensure correct coatings are applied and will adhere to safety regulations. The position requires a minimum of four years of painting experience on metal and composite components, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of painting and paint preparation on metal and composite/fiberglass aircraft components.
• Good reading of blueprints and Bills of Material (BOM) to apply correct coatings.
• Ability to follow FAA-approved manufacturing specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Paint Prep: perform surface preparation, repairs, sanding, masking and stripe layout as required.
• Paint: apply coatings using standard and specialized hand tools and test equipment.
• Administrative and Training: support OSHA/safety regulations and train others as needed.
• Other duties as assigned on the shop floor.
