Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Edmonton invites applications for Store Associate to assist customers, determine needs, and recommend products while maintaining high store standards.

You will process sales, stock shelves, assist with deliveries, and help achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, working at Store #8753, 3460-99 St, Edmonton, AB T6E 5X5. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Preferred: High School diploma or CAEC.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Preferred: experience selling paint and related products.
• Preferred: ability to read, write and speak more than one language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
