Job summary

As an Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Canada’s agriculture and food sector, performing grain handling, crop input product delivery, and field scouting while contributing to real projects. You will work with experienced professionals in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, Mechanical Techniques, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in agriculture industry and practices
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full-time availability for a 4-month term, May – Aug.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with grain handling and sorting, including supporting truck loading activities and conducting sample testing
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Field and crop scouting duties as required
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
