Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
- One year's recent relevant clinical nursing experience in the designated area.
Responsibilities
- Assess post anaesthetic patients and plan interventions.
- Provide nursing care according to physicians’ orders.
- Communicate with health care team members.
- Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff.
Skills
Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area
Proficiency in initiating and maintaining Intravenous Therapy
Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to promote person-centered care
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Education
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
