Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting seeks an Associate Veterinarian for West Toronto, as the sole practitioner for a busy clinic. The current DVM is retiring, creating an excellent opportunity for a dedicated veterinarian to lead medical services and client care.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with clients by listening to concerns and gathering information.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures delivering high-quality care.
• Communicates diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition to clients.
• Maintains medical/surgical records and logs per established protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and veterinary advances.
• Supports paraprofessional team to ensure top-quality care and client service.
• Present a positive image of the hospital within the professional community.

Associate Veterinarian – West Toronto. We are now seeking for a Veterinarian to join our amazing team as the sole practitioner for a busy clinic. The current DVM is retiring and this is an amazing opportunity for that special someone who is looking for a new challenge in their career.

Compensation range is between $150k-$200k (based on experience) per annum.

Full time and Part time applicants considered.

You will be guaranteed a consistent work schedule from 9-6pm, continuing education coverage, membership fees covered, paid liability insurance, paid holiday time, vin membership and health benefits.

In this role you will advance the quality of medicine in the practice and continue to provide exceptional client service to our LARGE client base.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
• Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
• Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
• Assists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
• Present a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
