Job summary

Mars in Guelph seeks a Process & Product Implementation Engineer - Packaging to drive packaging innovations, trials, and transfers on site. You will implement new packaging materials, processes, equipment, and sustainability initiatives, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Q&FS, CVS, and regional teams to ensure safe, compliant deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lead trials with 15–20% travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing experience with high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience supporting technical trials, validation, startups, or industrialization.
Experience with packaging equipment, materials, or manufacturing systems preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma knowledge; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deploy and execute R&D strategies for growth, quality, efficiency, and sustainability on site.
Lead site-level packaging line trials from preparation to reporting and follow-up.
Coordinate line availability, sampling, resources, stakeholders, materials, and reporting.
Document trial plans, results, deviations, and recommendations.
