Job summary

Adecco is hiring several Packaging Associates for a client in the cannabis industry in Smith Falls, Ontario. You will package finished products, manage material handling, and contribute to production reporting while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include supporting propagation, encapsulation and pre-roll departments, with a 6:00am to 4:00pm shift. This is a temporary to full-time role offering weekly pay, benefits after qualification, and sign-on potential after hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Cannabis Industry.
• Must have a clear criminal background.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness and flexibility to perform repetitive tasks and adapt to different areas.
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Package and box finished product; handle materials and assist production reporting.
• Operate near moving machinery with required PPE (safety shoes).
• Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency with high-quality output.
• Be flexible to work across multiple areas of the facility as needed.

Adecco is currently hiring several Packaging Associates to work for our client in the cannabis industry in Smith Falls, ON. In this position you will package and box finished product; be responsible for material handling and production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, we are seeking candidates to support the propagation, encapsulation and pre roll departments.

• Pay Rate: $17.95/hour

• Location: Smith Falls, ON

• Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Working along with the rest of the manufacturing team, you will work to understand and exceed the client's customer expectations.

• Manufacturing experience not required

• You are a fast-learner with strong attention to detail and have excellent time-management skills.

• You will be expected to operate or work near moving machinery.

• Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes

• This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility. This will mean that the exposures/demands may change throughout your placement time.

• Have a proven track record of possessing a proactive mindset in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction.

• You will be a member of a highly efficient team that needs to be dynamic and flexible to respond to business needs, scheduling, and loading

• Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 40 hours
