Job summary

ALCOT PLASTICS is hiring for a Packaging Associate to support production lines in Ontario. You will prepare cartons, identify and label products, and pack parts as required.

The role requires standing, manual handling, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with training on day shift before moving to afternoons or nights. The position is full-time with shift options: afternoons 3:30pm–11:30pm or nights 11:30pm–7:30am.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Ability to work afternoons or night shift as required.
• Strong attention to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons as needed
• ID product, label and pack appropriately
• Bag extruded parts at the end of production lines as required
• Clean area when production lines are down
• Work with line operator to ensure quality standards are met
• Visually inspect, segregate and quarantine non-spec product for disposition
• Report equipment malfunctions to the operator
• Empty garbage bins and manage recycling area as required
• Perform all other related assignments as directed by the supervisor
• Maintain medical/physical fitness to perform all the essential tasks
• Able to lift 40lbs.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as a team player

Our product lines include: pipe insulation, construction foam products, pool noodles, and a variety of protective packaging/custom products.
