Alcot Plastics Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, established in 1983, is a Canadian-owned family business manufacturing and distributing Polyethylene foam products. Our lines include Pipe Insulation, Construction Foam Products, Pool Noodles, and protective packaging/custom products.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform manual handling as required.
• Willingness to work in a production environment with potentially repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons as needed.
• Identify, label and pack products appropriately.
• Bag extruded parts at end of production lines as required.
• Clean area when production lines are down.
• Work with line operator to ensure quality standards are met.
• Visually inspect, segregate and quarantine non-spec product for disposition.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the operator.
• Empty garbage bins and manage recycling area as required.
• Perform all other related assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintain medical/physical fitness to perform all the essential tasks.
• Able to lift 40lbs.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Our product lines include: Pipe Insulation, Construction Foam Products, Pool Noodles, and a variety of protective packaging/custom products. Shifts:

• Afternoons 3:30pm - 11:30pm
• Nights 11:30 pm - 7:30 am

Training will take place on day shift for approximately 2 - 4 weeks.
