In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: SAP BW HANA Analytics, you will develop and support analytical applications built using SAP BW/BWonHANA/BW4HANA/SAP Datasphere. This role requires skills in data modeling, data architecture, ETL, end-user reporting, and analytics.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Develop Analytical Applications: Design, build, and maintain analytical applications using SAP BW, SAP BW Integrated Planning, SAP BW ABAP, and SAP BWonHANA/BW4HANA Modeling/SAP Datasphere.
Support Data Architecture: Apply data modeling and data architecture skills to support the development of analytical applications.
Implement ETL Processes: Execute extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Deliver End-User Reporting: Provide end-user reporting and analytics solutions to meet business requirements.
Leverage SAP Technologies: Utilize SAP BW, SAP BWonHANA/BW4HANA, and SAP Datasphere to deliver analytical applications and solutions.

Data Modeling Expertise: Exposure to data modeling concepts and techniques, with the ability to apply them in the development of analytical applications using SAP BW, SAP BW Integrated Planning, and SAP BW ABAP.
SAP BW/HANA Proficiency: Experience working with SAP BW, SAP BWonHANA/BW4HANA, and SAP Datasphere, including data architecture, ETL processes, and end-user reporting.
ETL Process Knowledge: Exposure to extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, with the ability to execute them to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Analytical Application Development: Experience with developing and supporting analytical applications, including design, build, and maintenance using SAP BW, SAP BW Integrated Planning, and SAP BW ABAP.
SAP Technology Utilization: Exposure to utilizing SAP technologies, including SAP BW, SAP BWonHANA/BW4HANA, and SAP Datasphere, to deliver analytical applications and solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

SAP BW Integrated Planning: Exposure to SAP BW Integrated Planning, with the ability to apply its concepts and techniques in the development of analytical applications.
SAP Datasphere Knowledge: Experience working with SAP Datasphere, including data architecture and end-user reporting, to deliver analytical applications and solutions.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud, including story and application design, planning, and dashboard/report development, to deliver analytical applications and insights.
ABAP Programming Skills: Exposure to SAP BW ABAP, with the ability to apply its programming concepts and techniques in the development of analytical applications.
