Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly, Canada’s leader in last-mile logistics, operates more than 100 sorting stations and coordinates deliveries across three continents. We’re hiring for a fast-paced warehouse role where you will unload trailers, sort and scan parcels, operate conveyors and handhelds, and help prepare orders for delivery or Linehaul.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or sorting operations preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to train on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight manually into conveyors.
• Operate jacks to organize and feed sort lines (training provided).
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul teams.
• Stage sorted freight in the load-out area.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Validate scanned freight to ensure sorting accuracy.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

Salary Range
$20.35 - $22.18
Core Duties

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
