Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is hiring for a fast-paced warehouse role in Quebec. You will unload trailers, verify freight, and operate sort lines with manual and powered equipment. You’ll sort, scan, and prepare orders, and stage freight for delivery or linehaul teams.

Expect a team-oriented environment, shift-based schedules, and a focus on safety with required training. The role emphasizes active movement and reliable teamwork in a dynamic logistics setting.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight manually into conveyors.
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul teams.
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load-out area.
• Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages.
• Validate scanned and sorted freight to reduce mis-sorts.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

Core Duties

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
