Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is hiring a warehouse sorter in our fast-paced Ontario facility. You will unload trailers, verify freight against manifests, and feed the sort lines using conveyors and handheld devices.

You will sort, scan, and stage parcels per the sort plan, operate jacks, and work with the team to achieve accurate sorting with minimal mis-sorts. This position offers a flexible schedule and active teamwork.

• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul
• Stage sorted freight per station layout
• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg
• Perform safety inspections and keep workspace clean

Salary Range $20.35 - $22.18 .

Core Duties:

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
