Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly operates a large network of sorting stations and logistics operations in Canada, offering a fast-paced warehouse environment for self-motivated individuals. This role involves moving parcels, unloading trailers, and sorting according to the plan.

You will work with handheld devices, help set up sort areas, and contribute to efficient hub and middle-mile operations. The role is ideal for active candidates who like to stay on the move and meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and stand for long periods.
• Work well in a fast-paced warehouse and maintain safety.
• Ability to follow sort plans and use handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Operate handheld devices to sort freight and feed the sort lines.
• Organize sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Lift and transport pallets; assist Linehaul and Hub teams.

Salary Range

Core Duties:

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
