Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Canada’s Montérégie region is seeking a fast-paced warehouse sorter to support our last-mile operations. You will unload trailers, verify freight, sort parcels, scan items, and prepare orders for delivery or Linehaul teams, following the station sort plan.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with manual handling, lifting up to 23 kg, and working in a busy environment with flexible shifts. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on accuracy, safety, and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Flexible schedule with minimum 3 days per week (including at least one weekend).

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Sort, scan, and prepare parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate handheld devices to sort and track orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul teams.
• Perform cleaning, safety checks, and general duties as assigned.

Core Duties

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
