Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Canada’s Montérégie region is seeking a warehouse associate to unload trailers, sort parcels, and feed the sort lines with speed and accuracy. You will operate conveyors and handheld devices to scan, sort, and prepare orders for delivery.

The role offers a flexible schedule within a fast-paced team environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with a minimum of 3 days per week and training provided.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) as required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse with shift-based schedules.
• Must be able to operate conveyors and sort lines.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight manually into conveyors.
• Use jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines.
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load-out area.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

Core Duties

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
