Job summary

FedEx Canada is hiring a Part-time Seasonal Package Handler in the Cambridge/Waterloo region. The role focuses on handling packages, with strict adherence to safety and packaging standards, and collaboration with team members to meet daily shipping goals.

The position runs 12 weeks, Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Candidates should be physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs, and hold a valid G license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred).
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred).
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record.
• Good interpersonal skills.

The incumbent of this position is expected to perform all other duties as assigned, must be able to complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training, must be able to operate in an PC windows environment, have the ability to successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable and work varying shifts based on business needs.
