Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a PPT Package Handler Trainer to support loading, unloading and training fellow package handlers. The role involves ensuring safe and efficient movement of freight within the operation.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–7:30pm. Requires lifting up to 150 lbs, a valid G license, and a strong driving record. Training responsibilities include teaching loading, unloading, palletizing and scanning techniques.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Valid G license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight within the facility.
• Scan and sort freight to support efficient flow.
• Transport freight within and between facilities.
• Train other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques.

To transport freight within and between facilities.

Trains other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques in order to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record
