Job Duties

• Load and unload freight within the facility
• Scan packages to ensure accurate tracking
• Sort freight according to destination and operational guidelines
• Lift packages up to 70 lbs independently, and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Ability to work in a PC Windows environment
• Availability Monday through Saturday, shift start between 4am and 8am
