Job summary

UPS is looking for a package handler in Montreal, QC to load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock packages. The role may require operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain accurate postal code reading and sorting workflows.

Starting hourly rate is $ 18.50/h with a maximum rate of $ 31.31/h (probation + 48 month progression). Typical shifts include 3–5 hours daily, Sunday to Thursday, with overtime after 5 hours of work.

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The employee may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

DESCRIPTION

• Starting hourly rate: $ 18.50/h
• Maximum rate: $ 31.31/h (probation + 48 month progression)
• Approximately 3-5 hours per day

REQUIREMENTS

SHIFT:

• Sunday to Thursday, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM (flexible).
• Please note that current operational needs average approximately 3 hours of work per day, typically from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
