Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Owner Operator to haul fuel and related products from a home-daily base. You will operate a heavy-spec tractor close to home, with support from a broad regional network and loyalty programs that reward safe, reliable service.

Applicants must have a valid Class 1 license and at least two years of verifiable Class 1 experience, plus a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable Class 1 experience.
• Safe driving record as shown on driver’s abstract.
• Fuel hauling experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Haul and handle Fuel as assigned.
• Own or lease a highway tractor meeting Seaboard's equipment standards.
• Operate a heavy spec truck for fuel hauling and comply with safety rules.

What you can bring to Seaboard:

• Valid Class 1 License

Owner Operator Requirements:

• Own or lease a highway tractor that meets Seaboard's equipment standards.
• Heavy Spec truck required for Fuel Hauling
• Preferred model year2021 or newer. Older units may be considered based on overall condition, specifications, and maintenance history.
• Truck must successfully pass a pre-hire inspection.
• Current CVIP/annual inspection, registration, and applicable documentation are required.
