Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Bathurst, NB is seeking an experienced Owner Operator to support our P&D operations. You will operate a day cab tractor for local deliveries and uphold safety and professional customer service standards.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, securing freight, and ensuring on-time deliveries while adhering to all regulations. Owner Operator experience is a plus and a suitable day cab truck is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record.
• Owner Operator experience is a plus.
• Ability to meet delivery demands and physical requirements.
• P&D operations experience is advantageous.
• Must supply a suitable day cab truck for P&D ops.

What You’ll Do

• Provide and operate a Tractor Truck (Day cab) for P&D deliveries (local/area service from Bathurst)
• Complete deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner at all times
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
• Secure freight properly and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Represent the operation professionally at terminals and customer locations
• Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations and company safety standards
