UPS is hiring a part-time seasonal helper to assist Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups in and around the Owen Sound Area. This role involves physical work, lifting and carrying packages, and requires walking to deliver packages at customer locations. No driving is required.

Shifts are 3-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, starting between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Expect up to 25 hours per week, weekly pay, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a Fortune 50 company.

Job Description

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around Owen Sound Area. This role involves performing physical work in a fast-paced environment including continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Shift Start

Start time will vary between 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Depending on operational needs start times & finish times may vary. Flexibility required (3-5 hours a day)

Pay rate

$18.15/hr.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 hours a day, start times & finish times may vary depending on operational needs. Flexibility required
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted
• Strong customer service skills
• Employees must wear a company-provided vest, black pants, and dark brown or black boots
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking
• Work hours may vary depending on the work volume
