Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in social services, mental health, addictions or related field OR three years of direct mental health/addictions experience.
  • Current, satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check required.
  • Demonstrated regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate referrals and document them through CRMS database.
  • Assess participant needs and establish a therapeutic, strengths-based relationship.
  • Link participants to community services and advocate for them.

Skills

Strong understanding of harm reduction
Extensive knowledge of community resources
Knowledge of treatment and intervention strategies
Experience in mental health and crisis intervention
Bilingual in both official languages

Education

Degree or diploma in social services, mental health, addictions or related field

Tools

First Aid and CPR certifications
CPI and ASIST certifications
