Job summary

SSP Canada at Edmonton International Airport is seeking an Overnight Food Service Attendant for Tim Hortons. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and serve hot and cold drinks and a wide variety of food items to guests, following recipes and portion controls.

You will complete opening, ongoing, and closing checks, maintain cleanliness, and support health standards. A collaborative team environment with competitive benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a food service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Experience handling customer service situations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• Brand certification as required.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Familiarity with POS to pre-check orders and close checks.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Skills And Other Requirements

• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• Brand Certification as required.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time.
