Job summary

Walmar is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate to work with the Overnight Remodel Manager in Edmonton. You will establish standards in newly renovated departments, complete modulars, secure high-ticket merchandise, unload and load fixtures onto trucks, and merchandise new departments.

You will also handle tasks such as setting mods, stocking multiple departments, following cold-chain guidelines, and assisting shrink prevention while building counters per print.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured in a designated location.
• Set mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL and DSM where required, and linking mods to labels.
• Stock a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments.
• Follow cold chain guidelines to ensure quality assurance.
• Assist shrink prevention by scanning damaged/stolen merchandise promptly.
• Build new counters using kit sheets from Warehouse; follow Lead Specialist prints.
• Move counters using appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters per standards.
• Occasionally work in construction areas; wear steel toe boots and hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

They complete modulars, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, unloads and loads fixtures onto trucks, builds counters according to the print, and merchandises newly set departments.What you'll do...1. Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.2. Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).3. Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments4. Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.5. Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.6. Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.7. Move counters using the appropriate equipment.8. Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards9. May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.10.
